The encouragment part is that my husband is now a sober and responsible (mostly) doctor, and his best friend is a sober and responsible (ahem) personal trainer who is entering physical therapy school.<BR/><BR/>AND their Christmas gift to their mother two years ago was to replace her carpet, on the strength of the idea that they were mostly responsible for its sad state.
