sleep, eat, swim, repeat

Our first ever family vacation is delightful. Today we have been swimming in the big pool, the indoor hottub, the outside hottub, and the outside little pool, in addition to wading in the ocean and basking in the jacuzzi tub in our room. Yes, it is a water-themed holiday.

Tomorrow we will take the kayaks out and visit the seals and sea-lions. Today we have spied herons, Canada geese, and burly Canadian eagles that make the eagles around our house look rather flimsy.

The weather is lovely: cool in the mornings, pleasantly warm in the afternoon. It is not my intention to fill you with envy -- though I do acknowledge the risk -- so I'll stop now.
