name that soup

This soup needs a name. I made it with freezer cleanings and a few odd cans of vegies. What shall we call it, other than yummy?



As-yet-unnamed-soup

Toss into a soup pot and sauté awhile
3 Tb olive oil
1 onion, diced

Add and bring to a boil
1 pkg frozen 'Vegetables for Stir-fry'
4-6 C *broth or water
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can black-eyed peas aka field peas
1 can red beans
2 C frozen peas

Add, then return to a boil
1 cup rice

Simmer for a couple hours, then add
1 sausage, sliced (I used a chicken sausage)
2 C shrimp, fresh or frozen

*I always boil the chicken bones in a couple cups of water and then strain out the solids and freeze the broth.
