anyone here?
Did the comment feature break? or did everyone just stop reading? If you would like this blog to continue, you might think of offering some encouragement now and then. Sorry to be so snarky. The furnace really knocked the bloom of off my mood. Let's try this again.
Comments are encouraging and uplifting and deeply appreciated and I would sure love to know if anyone out there is actually reading all this.

well, the comment feature appears to be working. . . sigh
I have you in my bloglines and enjoy reading despite being a spotty commenter.
I read every post. I guess I just haven't had anything to say lately. Sorry.
Oh - and sorry about your furnace problems!
Thanks ladies. I'm not usually so needy -- just in a funk I guess.
I read everyday. I love your recipes, but I'm usually reading when I'm teaching (ooh, bad) and can't respond. I will give you more incentive at night when I can respond!
Hi Suzanne - I read and have tried a few of your recipes (I loved the black bean porridge)! One piece of feedback is that your site is often extremely slow for me, and has sometimes frozen my whole browser (Firefox) because of an issue with one of your plugins. If other people have this experience it might be affecting your readership...
Hi Suzanne- I read you every day but have rarely ever commented. I love your quotes, your poetry Fridays, recipes, Works for Me Wednesday's, and everything you write about your kids. The novel widgets you have do make your page a bit slower than others to load for me, too, but i would miss anythiing you might drop! Love the books, too! You are always up to something interesting! I see from the other comments i am hardly an audience of one!
I became hooked on your blog when I first read the entry with the beautiful big red barn when your were Fazenda. I still have that page bookmarked!
I check in every so often. Very pretty blog, but the comment part scares me because it is not the blogger I know and love.
Thanks for persevering Annie!
Thanks for the slowload feedback too Katie - time to degnome again.
S. - how fun that you should mention the barn, I was just admiring it glistening in the morning sun after a drizzly rain. I just love it.
OK slow to comment on this one. I do read most every day too. Slow to load but worth the wait.
May we hear more about the children? As a fellow adoptive parent I love your perspective on raising A and C.
Poetry is wonderful too though.
Ronda
A loyal lurker here. Sorry I don't comment, but I usually read your blog while I'm at work. As a soon to be adoptive parent (next month!) I too enjoy reading about your kids and your experiences raising them. Please keep posting!
Patty
I check your blog faithfully, every day!
I'm sorry I don't comment more. Sometimes I think I fall into the opinion that the people that write my favorite blogs lead incredibly interesting lives - so much more glamorous than my own. I see all the dots on your little map in the sidebar and imagine your inbox must be jam-packed-full!
And then I wonder what little thing I could say that would be in the least bit interesting.... Especially to a writer of your ability.
(I guess readers are sometimes in a funk too!) :o)
Hi Suzanne,
I'm still catching up on my blog reading since I was out of commission.
I have a bad habit of reading in a feed reader and then not taking the time to comment. So sorry.
Well thank you all for taking the time to comment. I feel much perkier now.
