I have no idea what I have said on previous departures, maybe "get in the car now" or "let's go". Today we were all cheerful and dressed and ready to go. As I was stepping out the door, Dandy asked something from another room. I couldn't hear him exactly. "Mama's leaving!" I called out, expecting them to follow. Nope. Couldn't follow 'cause they had both burst into tears! WOW! I won't be using that wording again.

I asked them if they thought I was leaving them home alone. No, they didn't think that. They didn't know why they were crying. I asked them if the words just sounded sad. Yup. That's it.
