Mom's Granola

All those blueberries that we froze are calling out for a breakfast cereal worthy of their companionship. Enter, Mom's Granola.


2 1/2 C oats
1/2 C maple syrup (or honey or karo)
1/2 C nut oil (walnut, sesame, whatever)
1 1/2 C wheat germ
1/2 C + coconut
1/2 C sesame seeds
/2 C sunflower seeds
1/2 C wheat bran
1 t cinnamon, cardamom, or nutmeg
1 C dried fruit

I added: flax seeds, macadamia nuts, pecans, and walnuts.

bake in shallow pans at 300 degrees for 30 minutes - stir midway through the baking.
